Aromatherapy

What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy, as the name suggests, is a therapy which uses the aroma of pure organic essential oils of fruits, flowers, leaves, herbs, and resins such as Frankincense and Myrrh.

This ancient healing art dates back to 3000 B.C. The use of plant essences help promote spiritual, physical, and emotional health and well-being.

What does a treatment involve?

Your first session will include a consultation to discuss lifestyle, general health and specific conditions, after which Essential Oils are chosen and blended to suit your own individual needs. It is normal then for you to receive a massage using this blend (although certain conditions may require inhalation or a compress) and a small amount of the blend is given to you for use at home in warm baths.

During your massage you will experience a real sense of relaxation - this is the combined effect of the aroma of Essential Oils, a warm and peaceful room, quiet background music, big towels to keep you snug and the therapeutic sensation of a skilled massage.

Your modesty is protected at all times during a treatment.
