Jen Walker has treated thousands of people since 1994, and as a Reiki Master has initiated and supported many hundreds of people into healing and trained 20 or so of those to become Reiki Teachers themselves. What is Reiki Healing?

Reiki is the Japanese form of Natural healing. Subtle healing energy is channeled by the practitioner's hands to the recipient, calming, supporting, and restoring the body and mind where ever it is needed.

Reiki can be used to help heal symptoms and conditions on many levels; physical, mental and emotional, and spiritual (lending clarity and positive direction).

Reiki healing when applied to specific areas of the body (e.g. physical injuries) helps to rejuvenate local tissues and sooth pain. When applied to the main energetic systems in the body, such as the chakra's and auric layers Reiki clears obstacles and balances communication throughout the whole body, (addressing conditions such as exhaustion, stress and disease) regulating organ function and re-instating emotional balance

Reiki has proven to be very effective therapy to reduce and relieve physical pain, reduce stress, speed up recovery from major operations and dentistry, recovery from illness, palliative care, and balance even extreme mental and emotional states.

Reiki is practiced with the patients clothed and laying on a massage couch. If necessary Reiki can also be practiced with the patient seated, or resting on cushions (e.g. elderly or pregnancy). Treatments can also take the form of distant healing.

Reiki is safe and effective for all age groups and can be used alongside medical treatment, medicines and complimentary therapies.

Reiki in Practice

Business Manager / Male 55 years

Presented chronic injury (whiplash) to neck with severe and escalating pain and limited use of his left arm. Patient was scheduled for spinal surgery. Observing the MRI scans revealed total collapse of two spinal vertebrae. Due to the skeletal disintegration surgery was unavoidable. Reiki alleviated the severe pain and supported the patient through the major spinal operation. After the operation nerve damage paralysed the left arm. Reiki applied on a weekly basis helped the patient return the limb to full use in a fifth of the time that had been estimated in the consultants prognosis.

Cleaner / Female 50 years

Presented intense nervousness and negativity, with suicidal tendencies; following 30 traumatic and challenging years. After just one treatment the patient had her first stable week in years. With just four more treatments on a weekly basis she had revived her grasp on life and felt empowered to make the changes she needed to improve and continue her life. Later the same year she came on a Reiki course and now manages her own health, and helps others too.

Boy 8 years

Presenting night terrors with no memory of them. Parents distraught by endless nights of their son getting up in the night running to them raging, crying and screaming. This had been going on for 2 years and after a particularly intense month where this same event occurred every night they requested I treat their son with distant healing. The son was sent Reiki distant healing three night in a row, and on the fourth night treatment seemed unnecessary, and was not undertaken. A week later the parents called to say their son had ceased the nightly terrors on that fourth night. They have had peaceful nights ever since.

Girl 9 years

During a Road Traffic Accident the patients leg had gone under the wheel of a car and been totally broken, and flesh torn . After extensive surgery to pin the leg back together the patient was presenting extreme pain in the bones with little or no bone repair, and had panic attacks at the sound of road traffic. Reiki was applied weekly over 6 weeks. She had instant pain relief with the release of trauma from the injury site. The hospital reported a striking change in bone growth and healing after two treatments. It took a further three treatments to clear all hindrance to her bodies ability to complete it's healing and abate her extreme fear of road traffic.

Accountant / Female 34 years

Presenting increased levels of stress and joint pains in pregnancy. Not wanting to take medication during her pregnancy the patient was treated once every three weeks with Reiki. After just one treatment the patient had significant relief from her symptoms, and with further treatments was able to carry on her work in comfort right up to giving birth. Four more treatments were given after the birth to bring her back to full strength quickly.

Student / Male 21 years

Presenting fatigue, vision disturbances and frequent head aches. The patient was heading for his finals at University. After two treatments the patient reported having more stamina for study and revived enthusiasm. His eye sight improved radically and headaches decreased as his vigour returned. With four more treatments he was able to face his exams with confidence and full health.

Jen Walker has trained and practiced for many years in the Natural Health field. Qualifying as a Healing Master in 1996, Practitioner of Shiatsu Acupressure Massage / Chinese Medicine in 1998, and Bowen Technique in 1999 she continues her training internationally with world leading teachers and practitioners.
